Rehema is a young woman who is deaf. Therefore she needs to be in a classroom geared towards deaf children where she can learn sign language in addition to other subjects such as math and reading. Her father, Milsho, and mother, Kadzo Kalima, are both peasant farmers. They live in a mud hut with a thatched roof and have difficulty meeting the needs of Rehema and her 8 brothers.
Your sponsorship will enable Rehema to attend the Gede hearing impaired unit. In addition to schooling she will have a place to stay overnight during the week, friends to play with and three meals a day. Rehema comes from a Christian family and knows a bit of sign language though still has a great deal to learn.
She likes playing cards and Netball.
