This young man began school later in life because his disability prohibited him from traveling back and forth from school to his home. He has cerebral palsy which causes him to have flat feet, poor walking gait, poor concentration and no speech. His father Ramadhan Ali, passed away some time ago and his ailing mother (Fatuma Amir) struggles to earn money by selling dried fish. This is especially difficult since she has 6 children in addition to M’baruk. He is Islamic and can understand Gireama, Kiswahili and English. He loves to dance.
