Kahindi was born deaf for unknown reasons. His parents did not realize that a deaf child could learn so he has been looking after his parents’ cattle and has never attended school. Additionally, his parents are only simple peasant farmers so they do not have the resources to assist their son. Your assistance will enable Kahindi to attend the Kakuyuni School for the Deaf. Here, he will learn how to communicate in sign language along with other basic education.
