Salim is a boy with cerebral palsy due to an unknown sickness when he was young. His condition impacts his right leg and causes him to have a mild mental impairment. His behavior is very difficult to control. Although he is 12 years old he has never been able to attend school due to his condition and the lack of facilities. His father died leaving his mother struggling to care for him and his siblings. His father works as a peasant farmer. This means he grows barely enough food to feed his family and tries to sell whatever he can. He struggles to care for his six siblings in a small mud hut with a thatched roof.
Your sponsorship will enable Salim to attend the Marafa Special School and Boarding Facility. Here he will get three meals a day, a place to sleep and access to the care and education he needs.
