Emmanuel Daniel Katana Charo is a nine-year-old Christian boy suffering from a severe case of Cerebral Palsy. Emmanuel has been living in a brick hut with his family his entire life. His father is a veteran officer from the military and his mother is a housewife. While Emmanuel currently understands Swahili and Giriama, he is also in the process of learning English. Emmanuel enjoys playing with toys and interacting with other children. His parents are still very involved with his overall care, but are concerned that his medical needs may not be met with only their support. Therefore, in supporting Emmanuel you will be helping fulfill his medical needs so that he will live to his fullest potential.
