Thomas Saidi is a very young Christian boy who has suffered from hearing impairment since birth. Thomas was born in a mud house with a tin roof. His mother works as a peasant farmer and his father as a mason. Thomas has a difficult time communicating with others and, at the moment, only understands physical gestures. He is, however, in the process of learning sign language and English. He enjoys playing with toys with his friends, as well as playing soccer. Currently, Thomas is need of support for his education and his school uniform so that he may receive the special tools necessary to help him thrive in his community.
